- Ferro Silicon (FeSi) is an iron alloy with leading constituents of silicon and iron that could draw the attention of manufactures of silicon, corrosion-resistant ferrous silicon alloys and silicon steel due to its deoxidizing effect and being a source of silicon. Moreover, it can prevent carbon loss and seems applicable in hydrogen, magnesium and silicon production and making electrode coating.
